In my design office Morten Linde Aps I have over the past 30 years solved design challenges for a wide range of design focused companies. Large and small, Danish and international. During this time, I also co-founded the Swiss luxury sports watch company Linde Werdelin, which I left in 2019.
In addition to my design education, I am educated a psychotherapist. This gives me an insight and a way to communicate through my design. I explore external and internal conditions that unfold in the present and that create a relevant debate across societies, genders and cultures. I generate ideas and nurture concepts originating in life-affirming feelings. These are 3D short stories that I need to share, to bring to life and fruition. Whenever possible I aim to collaborate with gifted artisans and craftsmen. My passion is to combine quality, sustainability, craftsmanship and create design that gives an emotional value.
In 2020 I co-founded STUDIO YOLK art and design. We are a family-based art and design studio. Our professional disciplines range from product and furniture design, visual communication, fashion and art. We work individually and interdisciplinary. Pernille, Amanda and I are from the Royal Danish Academy of Design in Copenhagen. Carl Otto is from Gerrit Rietveld Academie, fine arts in Amsterdam.
