1985-1990 Graduated as furniture designer from the School of Arts Crafts and Design in Copenhagen. Today called The Royal Danish Academy of Design.
2004-2008 Graduated as psychotherapist from The Academy of Psychotherapy.
2016-2018 Diploma from the School for Psykosomatik, Copenhagen
Experience:
1990-1992 Worked for Bang & Olufsen at designer David Lewis. Designed the iconic BeoSound 9000 and more.
1992-2005 Founder of Linde Design. Among others worked for: Bang & Olufsen, Tag Heuer, Georg Jensen, and Hewlett-Packard. Designed a wide variety of products including phones, audio, watches, eyewear, furniture, and luxury goods. Won numerous competitions, awards and prizes. Among others: Red Dot, IF, IG. Awarded the Erik Herløw prize - Young Design Talent 1996.
2000-2001 Design teacher at The Royal Danish Academy of Design.
2002-2019 Founded Linde Werdelin Watches with Jorn Werdelin. Responsible for design and product development, production, and visual identity. I have designed more than 70 different watch models and developed a computer for diving and activities in the mountains. I have also designed the universe surrounding the watches such as packaging, display, shop-in-shop and been responsible for web design and catalogues.
2006-2017 Global distribution network. LW watches were sold in 24 different countries and at 45 retail outlets and lifestyle shops such as French Collette.
2006 First Biformater watches and instruments to engage in activities in the mountains was launched.
2009 We launched the Oktopus and Spido-watches for activities in the sea and mountains. The first models were a collaboration with the famous watch maker Svend Andersen.
2011 Worked as an external advisor for Georg Jensen on their watch collection.
2011-2015 Linde Werdelin had an annual growth of 40-45%
2015 Designed watches for the Danish military’s special amphibious forces (The Danish Frogman Corps)
2016 Linde Werdelin was nominated one of the 10 best independent watch brands in the world by Bloomberg.
2016 Designed products for our web shop; skis, diving knife for the Frogman Corps, watch accessories, bikes and other collaborations.
2017- New collaboration with the London based customizing company TBlack.
2019- Founded Morten Linde Aps.
2020- Co-founded STUDIO YOLK art and design. We are a family-based art and design studio. Our professional disciplines range from product and furniture design, visual communication, fashion and art. We work individually and interdisciplinary. Pernille Iben Linde, Amanda Johanne Linde and I are from the Royal Danish Academy of Design in Copenhagen. Carl Otto Linde is from Gerrit Rietveld Academie , fine arts in Amsterdam.
2021- STUDIO YOLK was selected by Adorno to participate in the group exhibition Danish Predictions.
2021 STUDIO YOLK started collaboration with Galerie Philia. Galerie Philia is an international contemporary design gallery representing emerging and established designers and artists. Located in New York, Geneve and Singapore.
2022- STUDIO YOLK started collaboration with Normann Copenhagen. First product “Deco Object” came out in 2023 during 3 Days of Design.
2023- STUDIO YOLK started with 1stDibs.
